This Request for Pre-Qualifications (“RFPQ”) is an invitation by the Town of Saugeen Shores (“the Town”) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide General Contractor Services Required for Upgrades and Expansion of Southampton WPCP in the Town of Saugeen Shores as further described in the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

This Prequalification process is the first step of a two-stage procurement process, to evaluate and select prospective service providers that meet the requirements for upgrading of the Southampton WPCP within the Town of Saugeen Shores. Only those prospective providers who are “pre-qualified” will subsequently be invited to participate in the bidding stage.

The main objective of this project is to construct new Headworks, Sewage Pumping Station, and Equalization Tanks at the WPCP and upgrade existing equipment at the WPCP. Refer to detailed scope of work in Appendix B (the “Deliverables”).

The intent of the prequalification is to solicit qualified and experienced contractors who have completed similar projects of size and scope who are able to meet the requirements of upgrading and construction of raw sewage pump stations.
