The Town of Saugeen Shores (Town), located in Bruce County, includes the communities of Port Elgin and Southampton and has a population of approximately 15,900. The Town provides a comprehensive range of services to its citizens and visitors. The Town requires backup generator power for all essential services that operate 24/7. This proposal includes the replacement of generators at two critical sites: a wastewater pump station and a low-lift pump station that draws water from Lake Huron. Both stations are vital to the Town's operations and require continuous functionality. The generators at each location have reached or exceeded their expected service life. To ensure continued service reliability, both generators are scheduled for replacement and will be upgraded to meet current operational load requirements.
