The Corporation of the Town of Saugeen Shores is seeking bids for PORT ELGIN WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT HVAC AND ODOUR CONTROL UPGRADES at various locations within the Town of Saugeen Shores. The following is a general brief description of the Work to be constructed under the Contract: 

• Works associated with decommissioning, removal and disposal (as per requirements of the Municipality) of all existing equipment as shown on the Contract Drawings. 
• Supply, installation, and testing of new ductwork and HVAC systems as shown in the Contract Drawings. 
• Supply, installation, and testing of new odour control system as shown in the Contract Drawings. 
• Supply, installation, and testing of new gas detection monitors as shown in the Contract Drawings. 
• Supply, installation and testing of new natural gas feed for the Headworks Make-up Air Unit. Coordinate with Enbridge as required.  
• Provision of temporary ventilation of the hazardous classified construction areas in the existing facilities as required to de-classify that area to complete construction activities. 
• Repair and restoration of site, including roads, damaged by construction activities. 
• Conduct, Short Circuit, Coordination and Arc Flash Study for the proposed electrical works. 
• Provide PLC programming and SCADA Integration for the proposed Works. PLC programming and SCADA integration to be completed by the Town’s SCADA Integrator. 
• Provision of Equipment Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Material and Equipment Vendor Training Manuals, and Record Drawings for the Work of the Contract. 
• Provision a minimum of 1-year warranty (unless otherwise specified in each specification) for all equipment provided in this Contract from the date of Substantial Performance.
