The Town is seeking pre-qualification proposals from qualified developers, and their teams/consultants/consortiums to facilitate the development of an affordable housing project and municipal park on the 3.59 Ha (8.53 acres) subject lands adjacent to the YMCA Child Care at 374 Bruce Street, Port Elgin. The proposed development should consider approximately 0.81 hectares (2 acres) in size for the Municipal Park Development and 2.64 hectares (6.53 acres) for the Affordable Housing Project for the combined 3.59 Ha (8.53 acres). Additionally, proponents should assume the extension of Bruce Street to Amanda’s Way when preparing and describing their proposal.

For this RFPQ, proponents are asked to provide their proposed preliminary approach and concept plans to addressing the objectives as outlined in this document. We will proceed with up to six (6) proponents with scores above 87 out of a possible 160, to move on to Stage 2.
