The Town invites proponents to submit proposals for the study of short-term rental licensing in Saugeen Shores. Develop a report addressing Short Term Rental Licensing: - The justification for a licensing program and what it will accomplish in Saugeen Shores. - The potential regulations placed on STR (i.e yearly fire inspections, parking plan, etc.) - The potential revenue from a program (estimate # of STR in Saugeen Shores, suggested cost of licensing) - Requirements to implement the program (i.e staffing requirements, software requirements, etc) - Analysis on costs of implementing/administering/enforcing the program and how this may be offset with the potential revenue from permit costs. - Produce a draft bylaw for the implementation of the program.
